This year marks my oldest complete song's 10^th anniversary. Considering the fact that I was 15 when I wrote it, I'm rather proud of the chord progressions within the verses and the melody in general. The lyrics aren't as full of substance as I tend to prefer these days, but I had to start somewhere. I wrote about what I was familiar with, which was adolescent frustration.

This version, the one that ended up on Feels Like I'm Dreaming, is quite updated from the original, which was a tape recording of ninth-grade-me singing along with the sequenced piano/rhythm track I'd recorded onto my keyboard as the accompaniment. My little sister, who was three at the time, could be heard talking and playing in the background periodically. I was babysitting.

I like to consider this version an improvement.
